Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician at Kindred Hospital Central Tampa to support therapy services and patient care. You will follow treatment plans and assist the rehabilitation team, helping patients progress toward their therapy goals in a compassionate environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, and 6-12 months of rehab experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6-12 months relevant experience in a rehab setting is strongly recommended.
• CPR certification required.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Appropriate telephone communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow patient care tasks as determined by the OTR/RPT to help patients achieve therapy goals.
• Safely transport patients to and from therapy and other activities.
• Communicate clearly (verbally and in writing) with members of the rehabilitation team.
• Observe and recognize patient reactions to treatment; follow instructions accurately.
• Lift and carry equipment, supplies, and materials up to 50 lbs on a regular basis; use proper body mechanics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

How You'll Contribute
A Rehabilitation Technician who excels in this role:
