Under the supervision of licensed therapists, you will transport residents, monitor activities, maintain infection control, and help with non-skilled tasks while upholding HIPAA and facility policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists with treatment sessions as directed.
• Transport residents to and from therapy sessions safely and on time.
• Prepare therapy areas and equipment before and after treatments.
• Monitor residents during exercises and report concerns to supervising therapist.
• Provide encouragement and support to residents during rehabilitation activities.
• Clean, organize, and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas with infection control standards.
• Assist with non-skilled tasks related to patient care as permitted by state regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and facility policies.
• Stock supplies and report equipment or maintenance needs promptly.

The Rehab Tech works under the supervision of licensed therapists to promote safe, effective, and compassionate care for our residents.

• Prepare therapy areas and equipment before and after treatments
• Monitor residents during exercises and activities, reporting any concerns or changes to the supervising therapist
• Provide encouragement and support to residents during rehabilitation activities
• Clean, organize, and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas in accordance with infection control standards
• Assist with non-skilled tasks related to patient care as permitted by state regulations
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and facility policies
• Stock supplies and report equipment or maintenance needs promptly
