Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Rehabilitation Technician to join our healthcare team for our Frisco Clinic. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting rehabilitation services by assisting patients in their recovery journey. This position requires a strong understanding of anatomy and medical terminology, as well as a passion for patient care. The Rehabilitation Technician will work closely with Doctors of Chiropractic and physical therapists to ensure optimal patient service and support.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with exercises and rehabilitation activities as directed by licensed therapists
• Prepare treatment areas and ensure all necessary equipment is available for patient use
• Monitor patients during therapy sessions, providing encouragement and support to enhance their recovery experience
• Maintain accurate records of patient progress and report any changes to the supervising therapist
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the rehabilitation area, adhering to safety protocols
• Educate patients about their treatment plans, exercises, and any necessary follow-up care
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Stay updated on best practices in orthopedics, acute care, and hospital medicine to enhance service delivery
• Assist the front desk in completing pending tasks

Experience

• Previous experience in a physical therapy setting is required
• Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and patient care procedures is essential
• Familiarity with physical rehabilitation techniques
