Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of applicable work experience in nursing or allied health or completion of clinical rotations/affiliations.
• Must satisfactorily complete REHAB’s on-the-job training program.
• Ability to safely and effectively manage patients’ mobility.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients upon admission in mobility/ADL and speech therapy areas.
• Obtain vital signs and weights during admission process.
• Gather and transport patients and equipment for scheduled therapy.
• Supervise meals as needed.
• Assist therapists with group therapy and patient transport.
• Prepare and organize treatment areas and equipment as directed.
• Assist with therapy equipment distribution, cleaning and maintenance.
• Support scheduling and general office procedures as needed.
