Job summary

Central Indiana Orthopedics (CIO), a part of SCA Health, seeks an entry-level team member to support patient care in our orthopedic facility. You will assist with treatments, prepare equipment, and help maintain a safe, clean environment under supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma and basic knowledge of physiology. You will work closely with therapists, coordinate care, and perform routine tasks to ensure smooth patient flow in a busy clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Some knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and neurology would be helpful but not necessary.
• This could be an entry level job. However, some experience in a hospital, PT department/facility, handling patients and equipment, housekeeping experience, nursing home or rehabilitation agency would be preferable.
• Must have sufficient physical strength, dexterity and stamina to handle patients and equipment and to do much walking, stooping, carrying, bending, etc.

Responsibilities

• Attend department, clinic or company meetings as required.
• Demonstrate sound judgment by taking appropriate actions regarding questionable findings or concerns.
• Consistently work in a positive and cooperative manner with fellow staff members.
• Consistently demonstrate ability to respond to changing situations in a flexible manner in order to meet current needs, such as reprioritizing work as necessary.
• Attend required annual in-service programs.
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all company policies and procedures.
• Adheres to established facility safety requirements and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
