Job summary

VCU Health is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician to support physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech-language pathology teams. You will deliver patient care under supervision, monitor responses, and perform essential administrative tasks to keep the department running smoothly.

Applicants should have a high school diploma; CNA certification is preferred, with potential for a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or Health Sciences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA preferred; licensure or registration preferred.
• Experience with computers and common software preferred.
• Experience as a personal trainer or in exercise coaching is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient-care activities under licensed therapists.
• Monitor patient response to activities and report to supervising therapist.
• Perform administrative duties: scheduling, registration, stocking, equipment care.
• Assist with onboarding, supervision of volunteers, and billing tasks as needed.
