Job summary

Westminster Towers Orlando is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician to assist in the Health Center. You will operate equipment and help patients prepare for therapy, delivering excellent service with strong organization and precise following of directions.

The role is full‑time, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, under therapist supervision. Experience in therapy/health care and a high school diploma are required, with a healthcare degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with two years in a therapy/health care setting or SNF.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare admin or related field preferred.
• Excellent customer service, organized, able to follow directions precisely.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all applicable rules, policies, standards and guidelines.
• Assist with treating residents under therapist supervision and prepare for therapy.
• Assist residents with therapy exercises under supervision when needed.
• Transport residents to and from the treatment area.
• Provide clerical/admin support (faxing, filing, mailing, etc.).
• Maintain treatment areas and equipment; set up, clean, and restock supplies.

We are currently searching for a Rehabilitation Technician to work in the Health Center. This role helps operate equipment by helping patients/residents assigned to therapy. Must have provide excellent customer service, possess strong organization skills and be able to follow directions clearly and efficiently.

Schedule:

This position is full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 8am - 5pm.

This position is responsible for:

• Comply with all applicable rules, policies, standards and guidelines related to employment with Westminster Services and its communities.
• Under the supervision of the therapist will assist with treating residents and helping them prepare for therapy sessions.
• Under the supervision of the therapist may occasionally work with residents on certain therapy exercises and therapies.
• Responsible for transporting residents from and to the treatment area.
• Responsible for providing clerical/admin support (faxing, filing, mailing, etc.).
• Responsible for maintaining treatment areas, as well as the equipment in the treatment area. This includes setting up treatment area, cleaning the equipment and therapy supplies.

Education & Experience:

High school diploma and two (2) years' experience in a therapy/health care setting or skilled nursing facilities. Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
