Rehabilitation Specialist (QMHP) - Children's Crisis Respite

Job Number: 25-12048

Job Summary: The Children's Crisis Respite QMHP is responsible for ensuring the provision of recovery-focused, person-centered care with a trauma-informed perspective. This position operates in a dynamic environment and performs case management, assessment, and/or service coordination work based on the program's guidelines. The QMHP's duties may include but are not limited to providing continuity of care services, ensuring the safety of assigned youth population at all times, conducting scheduled therapeutic recreational activities, providing transport to/from community outings, maintaining a clean and orderly respite house environment, linking consumers and families to needed resources, and coordinating, monitoring, and updating services and consumer goals. Additional roles include providing necessary skills training, assisting in crisis prevention, and/or providing community outreach. As a team member within the children's crisis respite unit, the QMHP works to address clients' needs utilizing assessment, multidisciplinary coordination, and efficient clinically appropriate utilization of agency resources. Duties include collaboration with consumers, first responders, and community stakeholders to address immediate mental health crises and plan for future crisis relapse prevention.

Regular, predictable attendance is considered an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Education:

Required:

  • Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree, with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field. Master's degree preferred.

License:

Required:

  • Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Workhours: 8:00am-5:00pm.

Workdays: Monday-Friday.

Salary: $23.25- $24.41 an hour based on education plus an additional 10% crisis stipend.
