Job Description
Receives all referrals for inpatient rehabilitation and routes them appropriately to determine eligibility for admission based on admission criteria. Responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, managing, and directing the admission process for Dodd Hall. This includes patient assessment, marketing, and financial management/managed care responsibilities. The Rehabilitation Services Admissions Coordinator interacts daily with physicians, PM&R residents, nursing, and therapies to coordinate admissions.
Bachelor's Degree
Bachelor's degree and valid Ohio licensure in a clinical healthcare or rehabilitation profession are required. A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a medical setting is required; preferably in a medical rehabilitation setting. Knowledge of medical rehabilitation criteria, payment mechanisms, and trends is preferred.
