Job summary

Amergis in Lexington, KY is seeking a Rehabilitation Registered Nurse to support patients in attaining and maintaining functional independence after chronic illness or injury. This travel role involves collaborating with care teams to develop recovery plans and deliver bedside nursing across healthcare facilities.

Requirements include an active RN license for the practicing state, CPR if applicable, and state/client contract prerequisites such as possible CRRN.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the state of practice.
• One year nursing experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred.
• CRRN certification may be required per state/client contract.
• CPR if applicable and TB/PPD or chest x-ray as applicable.
• Current health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in attaining and maintaining functional independence.
• Support recovery planning and execution to enable independence.
• Collaborate with teams to facilitate patient rehabilitation goals.

The Rehabilitation Registered Nurse is responsible for assisting patients in attaining and maintaining Amergisum function due to chronic illness and/or a debilitating injury. The Rehabilitation Registered Nurse assists patients in the recovery process, as well as creating a recovery plan with the ultimate goal of achieving an independent lifestyle as much as possible.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices
• One year prior professional nursing experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred
• CRRN certification may be required per state/client contract
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
