Qualifications

• CPR/BCLS certification required.
• Minimum six months’ experience in an acute or long-term facility.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Provide morning care (bathing, oral hygiene, linen changes) and evening care.
• Assist with meals, feeding and nourishment delivery.
• Monitor patients and report changes to licensed staff.
• Help with admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Assist in positioning, ambulation, and use of equipment.
• Maintain patient safety and record vital signs and observations.
• Communicate with nurses, supervisors and Rehabilitation Services staff.
