Job summary

Burke Rehabilitation Hospital in White Plains, NY seeks a Rehabilitation Staff Nurse for night shifts with alternate weekends. The role requires 7 PM–7 AM hours and 11.5-hour daily blocks, delivering specialized rehabilitation nursing care and coordinating with the interdisciplinary team.

You will design and implement evidence-based plans, educate clients and families, and participate in professional nursing activities. An RN license in NYS and BLS are required; CRRN is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in New York (RN NYS) with BLS.
• BSN or BS in Nursing required.
• CRRN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on nursing care using the nursing process to achieve quality outcomes.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary rehab team to implement individualized plans.
• Develop and discharge teaching plans for clients and families.
• Mentor and supervise ancillary nursing staff and ensure professional standards.
