Job summary

Erickson Senior Living's Cedar Crest village in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, seeks an experienced rehabilitation services leader to oversee therapy operations for older adults. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and compliant service delivery.

The role requires at least one year of direct managerial experience with geriatric therapies, active state licensure in physical, occupational, or speech-language pathology, CPR certification,

Responsibilities

• Lead rehabilitation services and coordinate therapy operations for residents.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Ensure compliance with clinical, fiscal, operational, and customer service targets.
• Analyze monthly metrics including staffing, budget variances and benchmarking.
• Develop staffing and scheduling patterns for efficient, cost-effective care.
• Lead marketing and outreach for rehabilitation services across the community.
• Ensure documentation, billing, resident rights and regulatory compliance.
• Orient and train new staff.

How you will make an impact

• Consistently and appropriately responding to the needs and concerns of residents, families, staff, and visitors in a pleasant, respectful, and courteous manner.
• Working with the interdisciplinary team to achieve the highest functional level of all customers and promote coordinated, efficient care with a customer service focus
• Ensuring the department's overall compliance with the attainment of goals/objectives, as related to clinical, fiscal, operational, and customer service targets.
• Monthly analyzing and reporting on company metrics which include statistics, staffing, budget variances, clinical benchmarking, and other items related to the success of the business
• Creating and executing effective staffing and scheduling patterns to achieve efficient, cost-effective care.
• Developing and implementing a comprehensive, integrated marketing and outreach program to facilitate the growth of rehabilitation services across the community
• Following Medicare, state/federal regulations, and company policies and procedures for all business lines.
• Ensuring departmental understanding and compliance in documentation, billing reimbursement, resident rights, customer service, and compliance, and other requirements as defined in the respective regulations
• Maintaining all departmental reports, statistics, and record systems compliant with policy and privacy standards.

Compensation:

Salary range starting at $120k/yr with eligibility for annual bonus. Salary based on years of experience*

What you will need

• Experience in working with the older adult population related to the therapies is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of direct managerial experience or equivalent
• CPR certification
• State licensure in physical, occupational, or speech-language pathology in the state in which the department is located is essential.
