Job summary

WelbeHealth’s PACE program delivers integrated medical services to seniors so they can live at home and in their communities. The Rehab Manager will lead rehabilitation therapy programs, oversee staff, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in physical/occupational therapy, 5+ years of rehab experience, and 2+ years in supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical/Occupational Therapy with 5+ years of rehab experience.
• 1–3 years of management experience preferred.
• Clinical knowledge to treat frail, elderly participants with complex needs.
• 2+ years supervisory experience with mentoring capability.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide program knowledge, analytical leadership, and guidance for therapy programs.
• Assist participants and therapists in appointment preparation.
• Oversee the therapy team implementing prescribed treatment programs.
• Oversee contract management of speech therapy as needed.
• Ensure compliance with rehab, PACE, and ADHC regulations.
• Communicate staffing needs with Center Director and Clinical Services Director.
• Conduct home visits to supervise therapy services and home treatments.

WelbeHealth’s PACE (All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) program provides seniors with the opportunity to continue living in their homes and in their communities. We employ a collaborative interdisciplinary team (IDT) approach to evaluate and guide participant care, which is key to WelbeHealth’s values, team culture, and mission.

The Rehabilitation Manager coordinates the policies, objectives, initiatives, and programs for the delivery of rehabilitation therapy programs, inclusive of speech therapy, to WelbeHealth participants. The Rehab Manager also oversees the performance of the rehabilitation therapy staff, business planning, and budget development of the rehab department. Other accountabilities include: assuring services are provided in compliance with professional and clinical competency standards, state and federal regulatory requirements; guiding and directing the work of others, and treating participants, in accordance with their practice area, when necessary.

• Provide relevant program knowledge, analytical leadership, administrative guidance, and advice in the day-to-day management of therapy programs
• Ensure the team assistsparticipants and therapists in preparation for appointments
• Overseethe teamwho carriesout treatment programs as predetermined for each participantand delegated by the supervising therapists
• Oversight of contract management of speech therapy as needed
• Follow the regulatory statutes and rules for the practice of rehabilitation services, PACE, and ADHC regulations
• Regularly communicate with theCenter Director and Clinical Services Director to inform them of strategic staffing needs or changes in the facility’s needs/procedures/policies
• Conducthome visits as needed tooversee Therapy services in the home, equipment set-up, or provide in person home treatments

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical/Occupational; plus, five (5) years of demonstrated rehabilitation experience
• Additional one (1) to three (3) years of management experience preferred
• Physical/Occupational knowledge and experience necessary to treat frail, elderly participants with complex needs
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience with capacity to mentor and develop team members
• Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire and maintain certification thereafter; CPR and First Aid certification upon hire preferred

Compensation consists of base salary plus bonus. WelbeHealth offers a competitive total rewards package that includes a 401(k) match, comprehensive healthcare coverage, and a broad range of additional benefits. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and relevant qualifications.
