Job summary

High Shoals Health & Rehab is seeking an experienced Rehabilitation Director/Therapist Assistant to oversee the daily operations of the facility's rehabilitation department and provide direct therapy care. You will manage staffing, scheduling, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate's degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy and a current Georgia PTA/OTA license, with 2 years in skilled nursing rehab

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
• Current Georgia license as PTA/OTA, unencumbered.
• Prefer 2 years in skilled nursing facility rehab setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily rehab department operations and provide clinical case management oversight.
• Direct patient care and support duties as needed.
• Schedule patient care according to Plan Of Care established by Therapists.
• Collaborate with Rehab coordinator to arrange appropriate staffing.
• Demonstrate professional communication and safe work practices.
