Job summary

Waycross Health & Rehab is seeking a proactive Rehabilitation Director/Therapist Assistant to oversee daily operations of the facility's rehabilitation services. Applicants should hold an Associate's degree in Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy and GA licensure as PTA/OTA, with SNF rehab experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and Georgia PTA/OTA license required.
• Experience in skilled nursing facility rehabilitation preferred.
• GA licensure as PTA/OTA is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily Rehab department operations and clinical case management.
• Provides direct patient care and support duties as needed.
• Schedules patient care per Plan of Care established by Therapists.
• Collaborates with Rehab coordinator to schedule staffing.
• Maintains professional communication and customer service standards.
• Supports quality improvement through education and seminars.
