Job summary

Watertown Health Care Center is seeking an experienced Director of Rehabilitation to lead our rehabilitation team. You will oversee development and implementation of rehabilitation programs, ensuring high-quality patient care and collaboration across the interdisciplinary team.

The role requires strong leadership, licensure, and a proven track record in rehabilitation settings, with responsibilities including program oversight, training, budgeting, and expanding referral partnerships.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a rehabilitation setting.
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or related field (or equivalent) and required education for PTA/SLP/COTA.
• Current licensure/certification in the state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate rehabilitation programs to meet patient needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans.
• Supervise and mentor rehabilitation team members and provide guidance for high-quality care.
• Conduct staff training and education programs to promote best practices.
• Monitor and report on program outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and manage program budgets and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Foster relationships with local medical centers and clinics to expand referrals.
