Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation seeks a Director of Rehabilitation to lead a compassionate team of clinicians and oversee all rehab services across our facility. You will provide direct patient care as needed and ensure the highest standards of rehabilitation outcomes.

You will mentor and grow your clinical staff while coordinating with leadership to implement programs that restore function and improve quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a rehabilitation discipline (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology) required; Master's degree preferred
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice
• Thorough knowledge of Medicare and third party billing required
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions and problem solve appropriately
• Must have thorough knowledge of all state practice acts
• Must possess the ability to positively interact with personnel, patients, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public
• Must possess the ability to effectively manage/motivate staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all rehab services in the facility.
• Provide direct patient care as needed.
• Support and mentor the rehabilitation team to design, implement, and evaluate therapy programs.
• Collaborate with facility leadership to ensure high standards of care.
• Foster teamwork, adaptability, and patient-centered care across settings.
