Job summary

Athletico in the United States seeks a part-time Rehabilitation Aide to support physical therapists and the clinic team by keeping treatment areas clean, maintaining equipment and supplies, and delivering excellent customer service.

This role involves assisting with equipment maintenance, housekeeping, and stocking, while interacting with patients in a friendly, professional manner. Ideal candidates are energetic, team-oriented, and reliable in a fast-paced rehab setting.

Qualifications

• Energetic and a team player.
• Ability to demonstrate compassion toward patients.
• Able to multitask and work with more than one clinician at a time.
• Demonstrated customer service mindset and communication skills.
• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sterilizes treatment areas and equipment used in therapy treatments as necessary between uses.
• Maintains linen stock, cleans, folds and replaces as needed.
• Stocks treatment tables and modality carts with linen and supplies.
• Maintains weights and other equipment and ensures all equipment is returned to proper stations after use.
• Keeps gym area, waiting room and restrooms organized and clear of clutter.
• Updates equipment maintenance sheet and monitors safety-related temperatures (paraffin/hydroculator baths).
• Inspects equipment daily (ultrasound units, EMS units, paraffin baths, whirlpool tubs, hydroculator units, freezers for cold packs, etc.).
• Checks supply cabinets to ensure adequate clinician supplies.
• Engages patients in friendly conversations and provides excellent customer service.
• Refers all medical questions to treating clinicians.
• Performs other duties as required.
