Albert Einstein Medical Center in King of Prussia, PA, is seeking a Rehabilitation Aide to support therapists and prepare patients and environments for treatments in acute care, acute rehab, and outpatient settings.

This role involves assisting with patient care under supervision, transporting patients, maintaining clean treatment areas, performing clerical tasks, supervising exercise programs, and using basic computer tools to schedule and document activities.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma required.
• CPR certification required.
• 0–2 years of experience; 1 year preferred.

Aufgaben

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
• Performs patient care under direct supervision of a licensed therapy professional. Provides assistance according to departmental policies and procedures and applicable state practice guidelines.
• Transports patients to treatment area with timely arrival for therapy appointment.
• Assures that equipment and treatment areas remain clean, properly stored and ready for use according to hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
• Performs clerical duties as directed by staff and supervisors in a timely manner to insure smooth daily operations of the department.
• Supervises exercise programs, leads group exercises, documents appropriately (attendance, fees paid), and demonstrates knowledge of the specific needs relative to the safety of the participant.
• Demonstrates familiarity with basic computer skills such as scheduling, transporter lists, billing and ability to set up new patient/administer survey.
• Communicates impressions and objective information in a clear and timely manner to therapists, supervisors, and others as directed to insure efficient coordination and optimal outcomes.
• Performs other duties as assigned
