Athletico Physical Therapy in Shepherdstown, WV is seeking a part-time Rehabilitation Aide to support clinicians and greet patients. You will perform administrative and clinical duties in line with state practice acts and work alongside therapists during treatment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate and/or intern preferred.
• Previous Clinical Aide or Rehab Tech experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to clearly document all projects and manage production.
• Attention to detail and time management skills are required.
• Energetic and a team player; able to demonstrate compassion toward patients.
• Basic knowledge of office equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for physical therapy treatments and assists therapists with treatment.
• Safeguards, motivates, and assists patients during exercises and functional activities.
• Provides routine treatments such as hot/cold packs and modalities.
• Cleans work area and equipment after treatment; maintains linen and restocks supplies.
• Assists the patient experience coordinator with answering phones, scheduling appointments, and filing paperwork.
• May assist with inventory management and ordering supplies.
