Frederick Health Hospital is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Aide to support its acute therapy team. You will work directly with licensed therapists, assist patients through rehabilitation, and gain hands-on clinical experience in a fast-paced hospital environment.

This role is ideal for students or graduates pursuing careers in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, SLP, Athletic Training, Nursing, and related healthcare fields. Weekend/holiday coverage may be required.

Qualificações

• Requires CPR certification through AHA or ARC, or ability to obtain it.
• Excellent customer service skills and strong communication are essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital acute setting and manage time effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Assist licensed therapists during patient treatment sessions.
• Help patients perform therapeutic exercises and activities as directed.
• Prepare treatment areas before and after appointments.
• Maintain, clean, and organize rehabilitation equipment and rehab area.
• Stock supplies and treatment areas.
• Assist with patient flow and daily clinical operations.

What You’ll Do

As a Physical Therapy Aide, you’ll support therapists while helping create an exceptional experience for every patient.

Responsibilities Include

• Assist licensed physical, occupational, and speech therapists during patient treatment sessions


• Help patients perform therapeutic exercises and activities as directed


• Prepare treatment areas before and after appointments


• Maintain, clean, and organize rehabilitation equipment and rehab area


• Stock supplies and treatment areas


• Assist with patient flow


• Monitor and organize therapy equipment


• Support therapists with daily clinical operations


• Deliver exceptional customer service to every patient and visitor

Required

• High School Diploma or GED


• CPR certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, or ability to obtain


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to fulfill the weekend and holiday requirements
