Job summary

South Shore Health is seeking a part-time Rehabilitation Aide in Weymouth, MA. Under supervision, you will assist therapists with routine treatment, perform clerical duties, document services, and help maintain the department environment.

A basic life support certification and about one year of healthcare exposure are preferred. The role supports the SSH OPD Rehab team, with a daytime schedule and state-of-the-art facilities.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification required.
• Minimum 1 year healthcare–related experience preferred.
• Rehabilitation experience desirable.
• Health, fitness or athletics-related coursework or volunteering is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Clerical duties to support department operations: scheduling, phones, patient contact, inventory, filing and data tracking.
• Provide patient treatment under supervision of licensed clinical staff.
• Complete documentation of services per department standards.
• Enter daily charges accurately in the billing system.
• Support department maintenance and infection control practices.
