Job summary

Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Washington state is seeking a Therapy Aide to support licensed clinicians in patient care delivery.

You will provide direct and indirect assistance, helping maintain a clean and orderly department environment and ensuring a pleasant, respectful experience for patients, families, staff, and visitors. This full-time, day-shift role requires meeting certification/licensure requirements and completing the National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association

Description

Under the direct supervision of a licensed clinician, the Therapy Aide provides direct and/or indirect assistance in patient care delivery and assists with maintaining a clean and orderly department environment. All employees are expected to be pleasant, respectful and courteous in all interactions with patients, families, staff, and visitors of the Institute, as well as being a positive representative of the hospital at all times.

Shift Details: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Day shift.

Required Qualifications:

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year experience working in a patient care environment (home care, nursing home, hospital)
