Providence Health & Services–St Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver pt treatment under supervision, communicate with care teams, operate equipment, and support departmental projects.

Requirements include graduating from an approved PTA program, WA PTA license, and BLS. An Associate degree is preferred. Per-diem, day shift, with competitive compensation and benefits as part of Providence’s care team.

Description

This position, at the direction of a Physical Therapist, is responsible for the physical therapy treatment to patients and assisting the physical therapist. The position is also responsible for communication with patients, physicians, nurses and other personnel regarding patient care, for operating physical therapy equipment, and performing assistance in projects and duties within the departments as directed by the Physical Therapist.

Required Qualifications:
  • Coursework/Training: Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant Program.
  • Upon hire: Washington Physical Therapy Assistant License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
