Job summary

Generations Healthcare is seeking a Rehabilitation Aide at our Temecula location to support therapists, staff and residents with compassionate, quality care and a positive, teamwork-focused environment. You will assist with routine therapy treatments, ensure safety and cleanliness, prepare equipment, document care, and coordinate treatment schedules with therapists.

A high school diploma is required; a CNA license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate.
• C.N.A license preferred.
• Able to communicate in English verbally and in writing.
• Completion of an on-the-job orientation and training program or demonstrates competency.

Responsibilities

• Follows safety regulations, policies and procedures.
• Maintains safety and cleanliness of work area and equipment.
• Communicates with facility staff.

Job Description

The primary role of the Rehab Aide is to aid in providing appropriate aspects of quality patient care and support services under the direct supervision of licensed Therapists. Contribute to the overall positive image of the organization department. Ensures that all required documentation and required forms are appropriately completed included in patient charts.

Essential Duties

• Assists with and performs routine assigned physical and occupational therapy treatments; demonstrating knowledge of treatment goals and precautions in order to assist with or treat patients.
• Follows all safety regulations, protocols, policies and procedures.
• Maintains safety and cleanliness of work area and equipment.
• Communicates with facility staff.
• Confers with therapists to establish efficient treatment schedules.
• Transports, transfers and facilitates patient care as directed by therapists.
• Prepares patient equipment and supplies for treatment
