Encompass Health Corporation is hiring a Rehabilitation Therapy Technician I to support rehabilitation therapists and deliver high-quality patient care. You'll set up equipment, keep a safe and clean environment, and collaborate with therapists and nurses to promote effective treatment.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, teamwork, and adhering to hospital policies. CPR certification may be preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred, with on-the-job training

Formación

• CPR certification preferred unless hospital policy requires otherwise.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Has completed elements required for clinical ladder Rehab Tech I or equivalent training in school or on-the-job training.

Responsabilidades

• Set up equipment and maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with therapists and nurses to deliver patient-centered care.
• Support therapists with daily patient care and therapy activities.
• Facilitate effective communication with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain patient safety.
• Prepare and transport patients according to the patient schedule.
• Communicate therapists on outcomes/observations of patient care activities.
