Encompass Health is seeking a Rehabilitation Therapy Technician I to support therapists and deliver patient-centered care in a hospital setting. You will set up equipment, maintain a safe environment, and work closely with nurses and therapists to promote recovery.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent and Rehab Tech I training, with CPR certification preferred. This role offers growth opportunities within a national inpatient rehabilitation leader.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred (depending on hospital policy).
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Has completed Rehab Tech I elements or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Support therapists' daily patient care and therapy activities.
• Facilitate effective communication with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain patient safety and deliver patient-centered treatment.
• Prepare and transport patients according to the patient schedule.
• Communicate to therapists on outcomes/observations of patient care activities.
