Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Rehabilitation Therapy Technician I to support therapists, prepare equipment, and help deliver patient-centered care in a hospital or inpatient setting.

You will coordinate with therapists and nurses, transport patients, and document observations to improve outcomes, while enjoying a supportive culture that emphasizes growth and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred (unless hospital policy requires otherwise).
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Has completed elements required for clinical ladder Rehab Tech I or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Support therapists' daily patient care and therapy activities.
• Facilitate effective communication with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain patient safety and deliver patient-centered treatment.
• Prepare and transport patients according to the patient schedule.
• Communicate to therapists on outcomes/observations of patient care activities.
