Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Rehabilitation Therapy Technician I to support therapists in delivering patient-centered care within our inpatient setting. You will help set up equipment, transport patients, and communicate observations to the care team, contributing to safe, effective therapy sessions.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred (unless hospital policy requires otherwise).
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Has completed elements required for clinical ladder Rehab training in school or on‑.

Responsibilities

• Support therapists' daily patient care and therapy activities.
• Facilitate effective communication with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain patient safety and deliver patient-centered treatment.
• Prepare and transport patients according to the patient schedule.
• Communicate to therapists on outcomes/observations of patient care activities.
