Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation is hiring a Rehabilitation Therapy Technician I to support rehabilitation therapists and deliver high-quality patient care. The role involves setting up equipment, maintaining a safe environment, and collaborating with therapists and nurses to enhance patient outcomes.

As part of a nationally recognized inpatient rehabilitation leader, you will join a team committed to compassionate care and professional growth.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred (unless hospital policy requires otherwise).
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Has completed elements required for Clinical Ladder RehabTech I or equivalent training in school or on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment and maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate closely with therapists and nurses to support patient care.
• Support therapists' daily patient care and therapy activities.
• Facilitate effective communication with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Prepare and transport patients according to the patient schedule.
• Communicate therapists on outcomes/observations of patient care activities.
