Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Rehabilitation Therapy Technician I to support therapists, set up equipment, and maintain a safe care environment on a hospital team. You will collaborate with nurses and therapists to deliver patient‑centered rehabilitation and care.

This role emphasizes daily patient care, clear communication with families, and adherence to safety protocols within an inpatient setting. A high school diploma and CPR certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred unless hospital policy requires otherwise.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Elements required for clinical ladder Rehab Tech I or equivalent training in school or on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Support therapists' daily patient care and therapy activities.
• Facilitate effective communication with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain patient safety and deliver patient-centered treatment.
• Prepare and transport patients according to the patient schedule.
• Communicate therapists' observations/outcomes of patient care activities.
