Job Summary

The Rehabilitation Technician supports the daily operations of the therapy and rehabilitation departments by performing a variety of routine, non-clinical tasks. Under the supervision of a licensed therapist or therapist assistant, the technician may assist with patient-related activities as predetermined for each patient. Key responsibilities include assisting with patient handling, transporting materials, maintaining supplies, supporting routine exercise activities, and contributing to a clean and safe environment through equipment sterilization and general housekeeping duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification required, or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Preferred: One year of experience in a patient care setting, especially in caregiving or related roles.

Other Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and 100 pounds with assistance.
• Capability to push up to 300 pounds.
