Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Rehabilitation Therapy Technician I to assist rehabilitation therapists, set up equipment, and help deliver compassionate patient care in our inpatient setting.

You will communicate with patients and families, support safety, and coordinate with nurses and therapists to keep therapy sessions on schedule. We offer growth opportunities, tuition reimbursement, and a supportive team dedicated to patient rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred (unless hospital policy requires otherwise).
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completed Rehab Tech I elements or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Support therapists' daily patient care and therapy activities.
• Facilitate effective communication with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain patient safety and deliver patient-centered treatment.
• Prepare and transport patients according to the patient schedule; communicate outcomes to therapists.
