This job works under the direct supervision of a licensed physical or occupational therapist and, according to detailed instructions, policies, and procedures, provides therapeutic modality treatments as assigned. Responsibilities include preparing therapy areas and patients for treatments, transporting patients using wheelchairs and stretchers, maintaining equipment and environment, and performing infection control techniques.

Education
  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Some college coursework in healthcare sciences.
Work Experience
  • Required: None.
  • Preferred: 5 years relevant experience or pursuing education in a clinical program.
Certifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel between facilities.
