Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing treatment areas, equipment, and supplies for therapy sessions.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe rehabilitation environment.
• Follow infection control procedures and equipment safety protocols.
• Assist with transporting and preparing residents and equipment as directed by licensed therapists.
• Coordinate resident scheduling needs with therapists and staff.
• Communicate with supervisors and therapy staff regarding resident needs and issues.
• Complete and submit department logs, forms, and other documentation accurately and on time.
• Help monitor rehabilitation documentation for timely completion as instructed.
• Assist with ordering and maintaining office and clinical supplies.
• Support departmental administrative tasks, including claims and appeals follow-up as directed.
• Participate in team meetings, rehab training, in-services, and community programs as assigned.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with preparing treatment areas, equipment, and supplies for physical, occupational, and speech therapy sessions.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe rehabilitation environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a healthcare, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing setting preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand policies, procedures, and written instructions.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Commitment to resident safety, dignity, and confidentiality.
• Ability to follow directions and recognize when clinical questions should be referred to a licensed therapist.

Compensation
