The Rehabilitation Technician assists in the following areas of personal care and development:

Responsibilities
  • Safety: Monitors and ensures safety 24/7; supports crisis prevention, intervention, and resolution.
  • Relationship Building: Establishes trust and empathy through consistent communication; fosters partnerships with clients, community, and professionals.
  • Activities and Daily Living: Supports clients with social skills, leisure activities, and Activities of Daily Living such as mobility, personal hygiene, and basic health needs.
  • Health: Monitors vitals, attends medical appointments, and assists with care plans and documentation.
  • Community Integration: Connects clients with community opportunities, supports employment, education, and volunteering interests.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • CPR/First Aid certification (training provided)
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Basic computer skills
