The Rehabilitation Technician assists in the following areas of personal care and development:

Responsibilities
  • Safety: Monitors and ensures safety 24/7; supports crisis prevention, intervention, and resolution.
  • Relationship Building: Establishes trust and empathy through communication; collaborates with clients, community, and professionals.
  • Activities and Daily Living: Supports social skills, leisure activities, and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including mobility, personal hygiene, and basic medical assistance.
  • Health: Monitors vitals, promotes positive behavior, attends medical appointments, and implements care plans with accurate documentation.
  • Community Integration: Connects clients with community opportunities, employment, education, and volunteer interests.
