Rehab Technician I - [2nd shift, 16 hours]

This position involves assisting in personal care and development, with responsibilities including:

  • Safety: Monitoring and ensuring safety 24/7, supporting crisis prevention, intervention, and resolution.
  • Relationship Building: Establishing trust and empathy through communication, fostering partnerships with clients, community, and professionals.
  • Activities and Daily Living: Developing skills for problem-solving, communication, independence; assisting with social interests and Activities of Daily Living; supporting with bowel and bladder programs, feeding, wound care, and transfers.
  • Health: Monitoring vitals, promoting positive behavior, attending medical appointments, and implementing care plans with proper documentation.
  • Community Integration: Connecting clients with community opportunities, supporting employment, educational, and volunteer interests.

About You: You should have a desire to help others with empathy, patience, and dedication; trustworthiness; respect for diversity; professionalism; and a commitment to ongoing education and growth.

Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma/GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 pounds, CPR/First Aid certification, basic computer skills, and availability for scheduled shifts.
