This job works under the direct on-premises supervision of a licensed physical or occupational therapist and, according to detailed instructions, policies, and procedures, provides therapeutic modality treatments as assigned, prepares therapy areas and patients for treatments, and transports patients using wheelchairs and stretchers. Maintains all equipment and environment to ensure they are clean, operable, and safe. Performs isolation techniques as outlined in Infection Control policy.

Very Heavy Work: Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Heavy Work. Routine duties may involve exposure to blood, body fluids, and tissue, with occupational risks for exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials.
