Job summary

HealthPro Heritage is seeking a Part-time Rehab Technician in our long-term care facility in San Diego, CA 92131. The role supports therapists, helps transport residents, and prepares treatment areas.

Strong communication and follow-through on licensed therapist directions are essential; prior healthcare exposure preferred. Competitive benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Some experience in healthcare settings preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand and follow directions of licensed professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with transporting residents to and from therapy.
• Assist residents in preparation for treatment.
• Assist therapists with resident evaluations, as instructed.
• Assist licensed therapists with treatment programs designed for each resident, as instructed.
• Maintain departmental records as directed.
• Maintain inventories and order equipment, as required.
• Attend meetings and in-service sessions, as directed.
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures and participate in facility quality improvement and safety programs.
• Support the Company’s commitment to Compassionate Care; project a professional image to foster confidence in the Rehab Program.
• Perform other duties, as assigned

Compensation Range- $24-$27 an hour, DOE
