Responsibilities:

1. Works under the supervision of a therapist to provide therapeutic assistance to patients.
2. Assists the therapist in patient care.
3. Transfers and transports patients, assists patients in activities of daily living as directed by the therapist.
4. Participates in providing recreational activities for patients.
5. Prepares, cleans, and maintains treatment areas and equipment.
6. Performs housekeeping duties within the department.
7. Handles light clerical duties as necessary.

Services are delivered within an interdisciplinary team approach, including the patient and significant others, in compliance with CommonSpirit Health's mission, ethical standards, and policies.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• BLS CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
