Preferred Therapy Solutions, LLC in Melville, NY is seeking a part-time Rehab Tech to support therapists with patient activities and light administrative tasks in the rehabilitation department.

The role requires CNA certification or enrollment in a therapy program, a high school diploma or GED, and strong communication skills. Flexibility, reliability, and a professional bedside manner are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Hold a CNA certification or be enrolled in a therapy program (e.g. PTA/COTA)
• High school diploma or GED completed
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with rehab staff, patients, and families
• Regular attendance and reliability in an outpatient rehab setting

Responsabilités

• Assist with specified treatment activities as directed by the therapist
• Transport patients to and from the rehab department for treatment and assist with transfers
• Prepare patients for therapy sessions as directed by supervising therapist
• Assist with minor modification of equipment (wheelchairs, splints) as needed
• Document patient responses to treatment and changes in status to supervising therapist
• Support clerical duties including data entry and reporting
• Maintain a neat, safe rehab area and assist with inventory and supplies

OverviewA Part-time (25 hours/AM hours preferred) Rehab Tech is now available in our Melville, NY location- Huntington Hills. A Rehab Tech with Preferred Therapy Solutions will assist the Rehabilitation Staff with patient-related activities in accordance with state licensure and Practice Acts mandates. A Rehab Tech provides technical, and light administrative duties for the Rehabilitation Department.You may have already heard that Preferred Therapy Solutions is different from other therapy companies.
