Job summary

Kansas City Royals seek a Rehab Strength and Conditioning Assistant Coordinator to design and oversee individualized rehab programs at the Arizona Complex and DR Academy. You will work with Medical, On-Field, Nutrition, Performance Science, and Behavioral Science teams to guide players safely from injury back to top performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in kinesiology, exercise science, or related field.
• CSCS certification through NSCA and CPR/AED certifications required.
• Minimum three years delivering strength and conditioning to high-level athletes.
• English communication skills; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and evaluation of rehab strength and conditioning programs for players returning to performance.
• Coordinate assessments and monitoring technology to inform programming.
• Apply evidence-based training methodologies across the organization.
• Coordinate programming transitions into rehab assignments with Royals affiliates or external facilities.
• Lead off-season rehab check-ins and program updates for rehabbing players.
• Support daily operations at the Arizona Complex and align with organizational standards.
• Communicate progress, modifications, and milestones to stakeholders.
