Job summary

Seattle Mariners in Peoria, AZ is seeking a Minor League Strength and Conditioning Coordinator to educate and mentor affiliate staff, elevating the S&C program. You will oversee rehabilitation and return-to-play initiatives at the Minor League Complex and build strong relationships across departments.

This role requires collaborating with athletic training, rehab, PT, and field staff to maximize player performance, monitor progress, and ensure consistent standards.

Qualifications

• Must be a committed professional with strong analytic focus.
• Ability to relate to athletes and generate program buy-in.

Responsibilities

• Hold the gym environment to a high standard and align with current culture.
• Create and develop program design models for daily prep, lifting, and conditioning in a rehab setting.
• Assist in the creation and development of player performance screens and assessments.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly reports on all minor league athletes.
• Communicate with Athletic Training, Rehab, PT daily to provide a team-first approach.
• Collaborate with field staff coordinators to maximize player performance.
• Act as a support system for the S&C coaches for questions and clarifications.
• Evaluate S&C coaches, assess player progress, and ensure high quality work performance.
• Communicate with the Director of Player Performance to maintain uniformity throughout the organization to provide a seamless transition for all return-to-play athletes under 40-man regulations.
• Management of MiLB budget and financial reporting.
