Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care using the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process. You will coordinate with other departments, uphold patient rights, and maintain confidentiality while delivering high-quality care.

The role requires an active RN license in the hiring state or a compact license, BLS certification (or within 30 days), and unit-specific certifications as needed. Physical demands include lifting and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• RN license must be valid in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Certifications may be required (ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC/PHN/OCN/PALS/etc.) depending on unit.
• Education includes ADN, Diploma, or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs and prolonged standing.

Responsibilities

• Maintains professional accountability for patient care for assigned patients.
