• Job Title: Rehab Registered Nurse (RN) – Locum Tenens
• Location: Rochester, New Hampshire 03867
• Healthcare Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit (19 beds)
• Assignment Type: Locum Tenens / Travel Nursing Contract
• Start Date: August 11, 2025
• End Date: November 10, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Dress Code: Plain color scrubs
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1860 - $1910
  
  

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – New Hampshire or compact state
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in rehabilitation nursing or medical-surgical (med-surg) nursing
• IV therapy experience required
• Preferred: Experience with wound care, stroke, or traumatic brain injury (TBI) patients
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR preferred
• Ability to float to CCU, Med Surg, and ER as needed
• Strong communication, flexibility, and compassionate patient care skills
  
  

RN Responsibilities – Inpatient Rehab Nursing

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Conduct patient assessments, administer medications, and manage IVs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Operate clinical equipment including mechanical lifts, Sara Steady, Baxter pumps, and Kangaroo pumps
• Document patient care and progress using Meditech EMR
• Provide wound care and support for patients recovering from stroke or TBI (if experienced)
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients and healthcare staff
• Float to other hospital units (CCU, Med Surg, ER) as needed
