Job summary

Serenity Spring Senior Living at Green Bay is a skilled nursing facility seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor to oversee nursing staff and ensure high-quality resident care.

Under the direction of the DON/ADON, you will supervise nurses and aides, assess new admissions, monitor MARs and documentation, and coordinate with attending physicians to ensure timely and accurate care in a sub-acute rehab setting.

Qualifications

• Long term care nursing experience: 1 year
• WI Registered Nurse License
• Nursing: 1 year experience
• RN Supervisor: 1 year
• RN - Registered Nurse certification
• Experience in Rehab/Post-acute

Responsibilities

• Work with the facility's Director of Nurses and Assistant and implement recommended changes as required
• Supervise nurses and aides for Long Term Care facility
• See residents and monitor resident care and report changes to the Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing
• Assess newly admitted or readmitted residents and document in the 24-hour report
• Monitor nursing staff to ensure proper documentation on MARs, nurses notes, accident/incident reports, physician's orders and treatment records
• Liaison between nursing staff and attending physicians
• Assess the necessity of calls to the physicians during off business hours
• Check that all supplies are in proper place and all equipment is functioning
• Assisting with short term admissions
