Job summary

Woodside Lutheran Home in Green Bay, Wisconsin seeks a registered professional nurse to lead nursing care across short-term rehabilitation neighborhoods. You will supervise both professional and non-professional staff, coordinate with Admissions, Charge Nurse and Rehab Social Worker, and ensure a smooth, quality experience for residents and families.

The role emphasizes integrity, fairness and collaboration, with responsibilities including QA participation, policy development and staff education

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Current Wisconsin RN license and CPR certification required.
• Experience in supervisor/manager role preferred.
• Knowledge of policies across nursing departments and rehab care desired.
• Competency in MDS utilization or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing clinical and administrative policies for the nursing department.
• Educate residents, families and staff to promote health and comfort.
• Act as a main resource for staff and follow up on family or patient concerns.
• Oversee short-term rehabilitation neighborhoods within Woodside Lutheran Home.
• Participate in recruitment, orientation and staff development.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
