Job summary

Lehigh-Acres-Health-and-Rehabilitation-Center in Lehigh Acres, FL is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist to join our rehab team. The ideal candidate is a dynamic clinician and team player, dedicated to delivering compassionate care in a single-location facility.

Responsibilities include screenings, evaluating residents, providing PT treatment per plan of care, supervising PTA, and contributing to IDT and facility success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A current Florida PT License.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Must be computer/tech savvy.

• Conducts screenings of residents as scheduled to determine the need for evaluation and/or intervention.
• Evaluate residents per physician orders to obtain comprehensive data to be utilized in developing the plan of care.

• Actively engage and contribute to the success of the rehab department, IDT and facility success.

Job description

We are seeking a Per DiemPHYSICAL THERAPISTto join our team who is a dynamic clinician and team player.

Our facility offers a supportive family environment with a compassionate rehab team which is led by an experienced Director of Rehabilitation. Rehabilitation techs are utilized to assist therapists with resident transport and administrative functions. The rehab department utilizes Point Click Care for billing and documentation to assist therapists with daily efficiency where quality care remains the primary focus of each therapist. The facility offers in-house comprehensive rehabilitation program where the PT is an integral member of the interdisciplinary team. Our rehab positions are stable and secure at one location. Each rehab department offers a spacious gym.
